As Fall settles into the Walla Walla Valley, a distinct change begins. The sunset-colored leaves scatter around the parks and sidewalks, and the nights start cooling off. A sense of merriment resonates throughout the Valley. The last of the grapes make their way off the vines, and the sorting tables and presses are put back into storage.

The fall months are a time for us to reflect on harvest, and the warmth of a job well done. We invite you to join us as we reconnect with neighbors and old friends. There is no better way to celebrate harvest then enjoying the fruits of summer’s labor. Autumn in Walla Walla is the ideal time and place to partake in the celebration.

Cellar doors are opening this time of year, and new releases are available for tasting.

When the doors of the Grand Tasting open at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton Lloyd Center, guests receive a  wine glass and tasting guide. The show floor will be filled with over 600 wines and 50 restaurants and gourmet food tastes featuring an incredible array of options for guests.  Guests are invited to navigate the floor, smelling and savoring the bounty of the Northwest, delighting in its offerings. Wines and restaurants are intermingled to create a wonderful opportunity for guests to try the gourmet flavors that are created.
Certified sommeliers and chefs will be available to answer questions about wines and culinary conundrums. Industry booths of gourmet food, wine and kitchen products will introduce their brand or product to attendees.
Live music features wonderful musicians in intimate settings to relax and enjoy.

Come experience a day in the life of a winery! Get your hands dirty at Tertulia Cellars. Receive a personal tour of the vineyard and winery by the winemaker Ryan Raber, himself. Tertulia's Whistling Hills Estate vineyard  wraps around the winery so from vine to bottle these grapes travel no more than 200 yards. After the tour you will work up an appetite helping make the wines for the 2013 vintage.  After a few hours of work you enjoy a catered lunch at the winery. Finally, finish the day with tasting some of Tertulia's fine wines in their beautiful tasting room looking out over the majestic Blue Mountains.

Vintage Spokane Returns to Lilac City

Join fellow food and wine lovers for a night of fun at the Northern Quest Resort and Casino!

Spokane’s favorite food-and-wine experience, Vintage Spokane, returns for a third year, bringing gourmet bites and more than 60 wineries to Northern Quest Resort and Casino for the tasting event of the year!

After a successful debut in 2011, Vintage Spokane has relocated to the Northern Quest Resort and Casino in 2013, allowing even more of the region’s top wineries to showcase their palate-pleasing pours to Inland Empire wine lovers.
