Art Den Hoed

The Art Den Hoed vineyard stretches for 250 acres over the south slope of the Rattlesnake Mountains in the Yakima AVA at 1,300 feet of elevation.  A small block of this vineyard is planted to Mourvèdre.  The excellent air drainage and higher elevation work to preserve the natural acids in the grapes while flavors mature, making this site ideal for our Rose de Mourèdre.

Les Collines

Les Collines (The Foothills) is one of the higher vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley with an upper elevation of 1,380 feet. This 240 acre vineyard places an emphasis on minimal input farming with its own composting operation and extensive use of compost tea. It is internationally certified for Sustainable Farming by the IOBC and is certified as a Salmon Safe Vineyard.  We love the Syrah and Tempranillo raised here!

Lonesome Springs

The Lonesome Spring Ranch vineyard is located in the warm, well-drained Rattlesnake Mountain bench near Benton City, WA.  Sitting at 1000 feet of elevation, the vines enjoy a South/Southeast exposure with Kootenay and Starbuck silt loam soils which shows through in the fruit as bright mineral notes.  It was established in 1996 and offers mature vines.  We enjoy our Malbec, Grenache, Viognier and Roussanne sourced here.

Pepper Bridge

Established in 1991, Pepper Bridge Vineyard is one of the older commercial vineyards located in the Walla Walla Valley Appellation.  The soils in this vineyard are Walla Walla Silt Loam, which is wind-blown glacial loess that is young and full of minerals with excellent drainage.  The vineyard sits in the heart of the valley at a low site where cool air collects.  The result is a longer maturation time for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, allowing the grapes to build complex flavors.

Phinny Hill

Situated in the western section of the Horse Heaven Hills, Phinny Hill Vineyard sprawls along the top of a sun-drenched hill with gravel-filled soils, excellent air drainage, generous heat and a view of Champoux Vineyard and the Columbia River Valley.  The vines here enjoy the longest growing season of all our partner vineyards making it ideal for reaching the pinnacle of quality for our Carmenérè and other Bordeaux varietals.  This vineyard is known for the finesse and structure it imparts on its wines.

Red Mountain

Red Mountain Estate Vineyards was founded in 1988 and is located in the geographic center of the prestigious Red Mountain Appellation.  The text book perfect limestone soils, southern slope, and large diurnal flux (intense midday heat balanced by dramatically coolers nights) produce some of the most sought after grapes in the state.  This appellation is known for its muscular style and we source Cabernet Sauvignon from one of the oldest blocks in the vineyard to blend into our premium wines.
