Winery News
Burr,
Wow, what a chilly month we are having here in Walla Walla. It snowed a few days ago which makes our vineyards look more picturesque then usual.
We had another great harvest this past fall. The Viognier is outstanding once again, also the Les Collines Syrah and Cabernet from Horse Heaven Hills are exceptional.
Soon we will be bottling the rest of our 05 reds. We will be adding a Red Table Wine, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to the two Syrahs we bottled back in September. It is our plan to release the Red Table Wine with our Syrahs and 06 Viognier when our new tasting room opens in May. We will release the Cab and Merlot in December.
As for our new tasting room, things are finally under way. The road has been cut in and the site for the tasting room has been leveled. We are waiting on final approval for the building permit and things should move along quickly after that. The design will be modern with a lounge area and fireplace. The tasting room is positioned to look out over the Blue Mountains. Construction has just begun and I can’t wait to move in and see you all out there. We have some fantastic wines coming out and the perfect place for you to enjoy them.
See you soon.
